Everything customers ask us most often, answered in one place. Anything not covered here, email info@thefittedjackets.com and a person replies within 24 hours.
Sizing & fit
How do I choose the right size?
Every product page has a Size Guide with our measurements in inches, and a fit finder that suggests your size from your chest measurement in about ten seconds. Measure over a t-shirt, keep the tape flat and do not pull it tight.
Can I get a jacket made to my own measurements?
Yes, and it is free. On any product page open “Need a custom size?” and enter your chest, waist, sleeve length, height and weight. Those measurements travel with your order to our workshop. If you are unsure about any measurement, leave a note in the same form and our team will email you before your jacket goes into production.
Can a custom-measured jacket be returned?
No. Jackets cut to your own measurements cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive damaged or defective, because they are made for you alone. If you are not certain about your measurements, order a standard size instead — standard sizes are covered by the full 30-day return and exchange policy.
What if the size I ordered does not fit?
Email us within 30 days of delivery and we will arrange a size exchange. Tags must still be attached and the jacket unworn.
Shipping & delivery
How long does delivery take?
11 to 14 business days for most orders, worldwide. Every product page shows the exact expected delivery window for the day you order.
How much is shipping?
Free, everywhere. There is no minimum order value, in the US or internationally.
Who do you ship with, and can I track my order?
We ship with FedEx, UPS and DHL. You receive a tracking link by email as soon as your order leaves us, and you can also see it under My Account. A tracking link can take up to 24 hours to become active.
Can I ship to a different address?
Yes. At checkout, enter your billing details and then tick “Ship to a different address”.
Returns & refunds
What is your return policy?
You have 30 days from the day your order is delivered to tell us you want to return or exchange it, and to send it back. Email info@thefittedjackets.com with your order number; we reply within 24 hours with a return authorisation and the return address.
What condition does the jacket need to be in?
Unused and unstained, with all original tags still attached, in its original packaging. Jackets with removed tags cannot be returned.
Who pays return shipping?
The customer pays return shipping, which depends on the weight and size of the jacket. There is no restocking fee, and approved refunds are issued in full for the amount you paid for the item, to your original payment method.
How long does a refund take?
Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days of your return arriving and passing inspection. Your bank may take a further 3–5 business days to show the money.
Can I cancel an order?
Yes, within 48 hours of placing it. Email us with your order number.
Products & materials
Is the leather real?
Yes on everything described as leather — cowhide, lambskin, sheepskin or suede, depending on the jacket. The exact material is listed in the Specifications on each product page. A few items are clearly described as faux leather, wool or fleece in their own titles and specifications.
Every jacket is handmade — will mine look exactly like the photo?
Very close, but leather is a natural material. Slight variation in colour, grain and texture between jackets is normal and is part of how real leather behaves.
How do I look after a leather jacket?
Keep it away from direct heat, hang it on a wide hanger, and wipe it with a dry cloth rather than washing it. Our care guide covers conditioning, storage and rain.
Payment & security
Which payment methods do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover, plus Google Pay and Apple Pay. Card details are handled by Stripe over an encrypted connection and never touch our servers.
Do you take custom orders in bulk?
Yes. Email info@thefittedjackets.com with what you need, quantities and any artwork, and we will come back with pricing and a timeline.
