This is a vegan leather bomber jacket and there is no point being coy about it: polyurethane coating over a polyester shell, polyester lining. No animal hide anywhere in it.

What you get and what you give up

A faux leather bomber jacket is lighter than the real thing, costs a fraction, and needs no breaking in. It will not develop a patina over ten years the way leather does, and it will not last as long. If that trade works for you, it works.

What it does give you is a women’s vegan leather jacket you can wear hard without worrying about it, at a price where that is a reasonable thing to do.

The hem is the design

A bubble hem jacket cinches at the waist so the body rounds out above it. That is what makes this different from a straight bomber — the shape comes from the hem, not from padding or a belt. Zip-up front, mock neckline, side entry pockets.

In burgundy it reads richer than black at this price, which is worth knowing: a burgundy bomber jacket hides the flatness that cheap black faux leather can show in daylight.

Care and sizing

XS through 3XL. Spot clean only — no washing, no bleach, no dry cleaning, no tumble dryer and no iron. Faux leather does not survive any of those. Free custom sizing if you send your measurements.
