The jacket for the weeks in between

A cotton bomber jacket is the layer for the weeks either side of winter, when leather is too much and a shirt is not enough. Most people own something for deep cold and something for summer, and then wear the wrong one for two months a year.

Dark blue, with a rib-knit collar and rib-knit cuffs holding the sleeves in place, viscose lining, straight zip up the front. A rib knit bomber jacket keeps its shape at the wrists and waist without any hardware doing the work.

What you can do with it that you cannot do with leather

A lightweight bomber jacket goes over a tee, under a coat, or into a bag without you worrying about creasing it. Try that with a leather jacket and you will be steaming it back into shape.

It is the plainest thing we make and the easiest to wear. A dark blue bomber jacket sits with denim, gray, olive and black — blue is the one color that does not fight anything.
