This A-2 bomber is made from genuine cowhide leather finished in a distressed cognac brown, so you’ll see natural tonal variation across the hide rather than a flat, uniform color. It follows the classic A-2 silhouette: a structured, regular-length body with a shirt-style collar instead of the wider laydown collar seen on some flight jackets. Ribbed knit cuffs and hem close off the fit for easy layering.

Design & Construction

The outer shell is real cowhide leather, which is why the grain and color pull-up look slightly different from panel to panel, a natural result of using an actual hide rather than a printed finish. Inside, a soft viscose lining lets the jacket slide on over a T-shirt or knit without catching. The front closes with a YKK zipper set behind a clean placket, and the shirt-style collar sits flatter at the neck than the deep, folded collar you’d find on a G-1. Two flap pockets sit at hip level for quick access, backed by two interior pockets for a phone or wallet.

Fit & Wear

This is a regular fit through the chest and sleeve, close enough to layer under without adding bulk. The ribbed cuffs and hem pull the jacket in at the wrists and waist, which is what gives it the bomber shape and helps keep cold air out.
