There are a few things I like and a few I would change. The fuller collar gives the jacket a fuller cold-weather look. My experience was mixed mostly because the proportions took me a couple of wears to get used to. I would not rule it out, but I would be mor careful about the fit.

The style is good, but the fit did not work as well for me as I hoped. The heavier aviator look gives the jacket the aviator feel I wanted. The green works best for me with simple colors around it. The main problem for me is that the length sat differently on me than I pictured. With casual clothes I already own, the heavier aviator look looks balanced rather than too bulky. The design itself is fine; the proportions just did not sit right on me. I can see this working for someone whose proportions suit the cut better.
