Bought this jacket last month. The waxed tin cloth shell is really tough and it repels light rain well. I like the shorter hip-length cut and the chest pockets are handy. It was a bit stiff at first and tight for layering, so I’d say size up if you wear thicker sweaters. Overall very happy.
